Location: Rochdale
Hours: 40 hours per week
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:50pm
Friday: 8:00am - 4:40pm
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our busy warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, motivated, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are accurately processed and dispatched while maintaining high standards of warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
Picking and packing customer orders using handheld scanning equipment
Assembling and wrapping pallets ready for dispatch
Loading and unloading containers and vehicles
Conducting quality checks on products and orders
Assisting with stock control and inventory management
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
Supporting other warehouse functions as required
Undertaking cross-training in other departments to provide cover during holidays and absences
Skills and Experience
Essential
Strong organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Desirable
Previous warehouse experience
Forklift Truck (FLT) licence
