People Dynamix Education are proud to be working in partnership with a fantastic secondary school on the Wirral to recruit an enthusiastic and knowledgeable History Teacher for a long-term position starting as soon as possible.
This is a 3-day per week teaching role, initially running until Christmas, with every expectation that the contract will continue beyond this for the right teacher.
The successful candidate will teach History across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. Experience of teaching A Level History would be advantageous but is not essential, and applications are welcomed from strong KS3/KS4 specialists who are keen to develop.

The Role
Teach engaging and challenging History lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5
A Level teaching desirable but not essential
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity and achievement
Assess, monitor and support student progress
Create a positive classroom environment where every student can succeed
Work collaboratively with an experienced Humanities department
Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate
We Are Looking For Someone Who
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Has experience teaching History within UK secondary schools
Can confidently teach KS3 and KS4 History
Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Is passionate about delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
Builds positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents
Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
What You'll Receive
£135-£250 per day, dependent on experience
Holiday pay paid separately
A long-term role with the potential to continue beyond Christmas
