Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

Job Description

The Residential Conveyancer undertakes the management and completion of residential property transactions, ensuring all legal requirements are met efficiently and accurately. This role involves liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other legal professionals to facilitate the smooth progression of sales and purchases of residential properties. The post holder is responsible for managing case files from instruction through to completion, conducting property searches, reviewing contracts, and providing clear and professional advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process. The role requires a thorough understanding of residential property law and the ability to work to deadlines in a busy legal environment.

Will Consider qualified and unqualified Conveyancing Candidates for this role.

Key Duties

Manage residential property conveyancing transactions from initial instruction to completion.
Conduct and analyse property searches and enquiries relevant to the transaction.
Draught, review and negotiate contracts, transfer documents and other legal paperwork.
Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, surveyors, and other relevant parties to progress cases.
Provide clear, accurate and timely advice to clients regarding the legal aspects of their property transaction.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and firm policies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and records using case management systems.
Identify and resolve potential legal issues or delays that may arise during the conveyancing process.
Manage deadlines and prioritise workload effectively to meet client and business expectations.
Support the continuous improvement of conveyancing processes and procedures
