An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join my client in the North West. This is a key leadership role reporting directly to the Commercial Lead, and responsible for all social housing projects.
With targerts increasing and planned growth you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial performance, improving delivery efficiency, enhancing margins, and helping to grow and develop the commercial team as the business expands.
You will be reponsible for a small but growing team within the business.
The majority of our projects are secured through framework direct awards, negotiated contracts and longstanding client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Take overall commercial responsibility for the Planned Maintenance business stream, ensuring strong financial performance and sustainable growth.
* Lead, manage and develop the commercial team, supporting career progression and succession planning as the business expands.
* Drive commercial strategy to improve operational efficiency, maximise profitability and strengthen margin performance across all projects.
* Ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly CVRs, forecasts and commercial reporting.
* Oversee multiple refurbishment and planned maintenance contracts simultaneously, ensuring robust cost control and commercial governance.
* Work closely with Operational, Project and Contracts Managers to ensure successful project delivery and achievement of business objectives
