Art / DT Technician - Full Time (5 Days per Week)
Location: Greenwich
Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Art & Design Technology Technician looking for your next opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Greenwich that prides itself on its positive working environment and commitment to staff development.
This is a full-time, five-day-per-week position, ideal for someone with previous experience in an Art and/or DT technician role and a strong practical knowledge of workshop and classroom support. A relevant degree is preferred.
The Role:
Prepare materials, equipment and resources for Art and DT lessons.
Maintain workshops, studios and specialist equipment to a high standard.
Support teachers and students during practical lessons where required.
Ensure health and safety procedures are followed, including COSHH and risk assessments.
Manage stock levels, order supplies and maintain equipment.
Assist with the preparation of displays, exhibitions and school events.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience working as an Art and/or DT Technician.
Strong practical knowledge across Art and Design Technology disciplines.
A relevant degree (preferred).
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
A proactive, flexible approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
