Westlakes Recruit are seeking an experienced Senior Information Manager to be engaged on a permanent basis in Whitehaven or Manchester.
This role combines responsibilities typically associated with Digital/BIM Lead, BIM Manager, CAD Manager, and Document Control Lead, supporting projects from small to medium scale while contributing to wider capability development.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Information Management activities across projects, aligned with ISO 19650 standards
Define and implement BIM and IM strategies, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and consistency
Guide and train project teams on IM standards, processes, and best practices
Produce and maintain project-level IM and BIM reporting
Drive continuous improvement of IM processes, tools, and ways of working
Support bid and proposal activities with subject matter expertise in IM and digital delivery
Build strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure high-quality project delivery
Promote best practices and contribute to knowledge sharing and capability growth
Coach and mentor junior team members
Candidate Profile:
Proven experience delivering Information Management / BIM in nuclear or comparable heavy industries
Strong understanding and practical application of ISO 19650 and digital delivery frameworks
Demonstrated ability to drive digital transformation and process improvement
Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
Background in STEM, information management, or a related discipline preferred
