The school is looking to appoint a Religious Studies Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis for a one-year contract starting in September. The successful Religious Studies Teacher will teach Religious Education across KS3, KS4 and KS5, deliver high-quality lessons, assess and monitor student progress, contribute positively to departmental development and take responsibility for leading KS3 Religious Education through a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR).
The successful Religious Studies Teacher will have:
QTS with a Religious Education or Humanities specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
Experience teaching Religious Education across KS3, KS4 and KS5
Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons
Strong classroom management and assessment skills with a focus on improving student outcomes
The ability to contribute positively to departmental development and build strong professional relationships
A proactive and enthusiastic approach with a commitment to raising achievement
