The Recruitment Group Loughborough have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking CO2 Laser Machine operator and Setter at our site in Loughborough. This is a fast-paced working environment working within a well-established multi-national company. Candidates who have experience and qualifications in CO2 Laser operation, specifically operating and setting Trotec laser machines would be advantageous. Company specific training will be provided.
The Hours:
40 Hours per week Monday to Friday - with Overtime during peak - Overtime rates
Salary:
Negotiable depending on relevant experience
The Role:
Setting and operating Trotec CO2 Laser machines producing a high-quality finish to tight tolerances whilst complying with health and safety regulations.
Programming the Laser machines using CorelDraw and altering drawings in AutoCad
Ability to understand technical drawings and accurately interpret required component and have the ability to work out the best method to complete the task safely.
Machining mainly printed plastic sheet material and occasionally jigging mouldings to the required design from a technical drawing, ensuring the correct tooling is always installed.
Maintain a high-quality standard and ability to self-check all work produced adhering to all CTQ notes on the drawing.
Undertaking standard operator machine checks and maintenance tasks
The Requirements:
Experience and technical ability in programming CO2 Laser Machinery, knowledge and understand of CorelDraw or similar with practical health and safety knowledge in standard operating procedures
A keen eye for detail and ability to quickly identify any components out of specification have the understanding to rectify the problem.
Competent in Math's and Fluent in speaking and reading of English, computer literate and, must be physically fit and able to move sheet materials.
Willingness to continuously learn, keep up to date with new procedures and desire to share skills and knowledge.
Have a positive, can-do attitude
Excellent timekeeping and reliability
