Trade Counter Sales Advisor

Our client is looking to recruit a friendly, motivated and customer-focused Trade Counter Sales Advisor to join their busy branch.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with builders' merchant or trade counter experience who enjoys working with customers in a fast-paced environment.
As the first point of contact for customers, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional service while supporting the day-to-day running of the trade counter.

Your duties will include:

Serving trade and retail customers at the counter.
Providing product advice and recommending suitable solutions.
Processing customer orders and payments accurately.
Building strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
Maintaining stock levels and ensuring the trade counter is clean and well presented.
Handling customer enquiries professionally and efficiently.
Working closely with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service and achieve branch objectives.We're looking for someone who has:

Previous experience working within a builders' merchant, trade counter or similar sales environment.
Good knowledge of building materials and construction products.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team.
Experience using tills or point-of-sale systems
