SCV Class 2 Driver – Exeter | Temp to Perm Opportunity

Location: Exeter
Pay: £16.40 per hour (basic) | £20.50 per hour (weekends) | £21.00 per hour (Bank Holidays)

We are currently recruiting for an SCV Class 2 Driver based in Exeter, with the opportunity to secure a temp-to-permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role

* Monday to Friday working pattern (with occasional weekends)

* 6:00 AM start

* Approximately 9–10 hour shifts

* Complete 15–25 customer service visits per day

* Cover routes across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset

* Empty 1,000-litre bins into a Specialist Collection Vehicle (SCV)

* Deliver excellent customer service while working safely and efficiently

Pay Rates

* £16.40 per hour – Standard hours

* £20.50 per hour – Weekend work

* £21.00 per hour – Bank Holidays

What We're Looking For

* Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence

* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

* Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious

* Good customer service skills

* Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Please Note

This is a physically demanding role involving regular manual handling and lifting as part of the daily duties. Applicants should be comfortable carrying out manual labour throughout their shift.
