Location: Cardiff

Salary: £14.25 - £14.50 per hour
Are you a passionate Welsh Speaking Nursery Assistant looking to support young children in a nurturing early years environment?
Do you hold a minimum Level 2 Childcare qualification and enjoy creating engaging learning experiences for children aged 2 to 4 years?
Are you committed to promoting the Welsh language while helping children develop confidence, independence and a love of learning?

This nurturing early years setting is committed to providing a caring and stimulating environment where children aged 2 to 4 years can learn, play and develop through the medium of Welsh while building confidence and essential early years skills.
The Cylch Meithrin is looking to appoint a full-time Welsh Speaking Nursery Assistant on a temporary basis from September, with the potential to become permanent for the right Welsh Speaking Nursery Assistant. The successful Welsh Speaking Nursery Assistant will support the delivery of engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), encourage children's development through play and provide a safe, caring and inclusive learning environment.
The successful Welsh Speaking Nursery Assistant will have:
Minimum Level 2 Childcare qualification
Fluency in spoken Welsh
Experience working with children aged 2 to 4 years within an early years setting
Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach
