The Role
Our client is looking to recruit a Stores Person to join their busy Goods In, Stores, and Despatch team. This is a hands-on role supporting warehouse operations, ensuring stock is received, stored, and dispatched accurately while maintaining high standards of organisation and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving, unloading, and checking incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
Booking stock into the warehouse management system and storing materials in the correct locations.
Packing, wrapping, and preparing products for dispatch.
Supporting stock control, inventory accuracy, and general stores duties.
Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to move materials safely around the site.
Assisting with container unloading and general warehouse operations.
Supporting both Goods In and Despatch activities as required.
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Following all company health and safety procedures.The Candidate
Previous experience in a Stores, Goods In, Warehouse, or Manufacturing environment.
Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence and previous FLT operating experience (beneficial)
Computer literate with experience booking stock into warehouse systems.
Good understanding of stock control and warehouse processes.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work accurately.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.How to Apply
