Job Title: Admin Assistant

Location: Rotherham

Hours: 37.5 Hours per week – Monday to Friday 09:00am – 17:00pm

Trust Location: Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust, Kimberworth place, Kimberworth Road, Rotherham, S61 1HE

Contract Length: Temporary for 6 months

What you’ll be responsible for:

· Provide a confidential, quality administrative service to an identified pathway within the Care Group.

· To communicate effectively, accurately and professionally, applying discretion and empathy where necessary, with written, telephone and face to face contact, with patients, visitors, other Trust staff and external agencies

· Ensure the highest standards of customer service are experienced by all service users and visitors

· Welcome clients and visitors to the service, booking them in on SystmOne accordingly

· Assist in the implementation of and maintenance of tracking/case management processes to effectively support clinical service delivery to agreed timescales ie patient records.

You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You’ll have the following skills/experience:

· Experience in a similar role

· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

· Excellent organisation skills

· NHS System expertise (SystmOne)
