Our client, a reputable automotive dealership in Plymouth, Devon, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Vehicle Technicians looking to advance their careers within a well-established business offering competitive rewards and career development prospects.
Benefits:
* Attractive basic salary of up to £32,000 per annum
* OTE approximately £37,000, including performance-based incentives
* Full-time working hours of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
* One-in-five Saturday mornings on a rota basis
* Employer-supported training, including EV qualifications, for suitable candidates
* Opportunity to develop technical skills within a friendly, professional team
* Stability and prospects within a growing dealership with a strong market presence
Duties:
* Conduct routine servicing on a variety of vehicle makes and models
* Perform diagnostics and resolve complex mechanical issues
* Support workshop operations with necessary duties
* Deliver high standards of customer service and effective client communication
* Maintain safety and organisation standards within the workshop
* Contribute to the expansion of the service team through technical expertise and dedication
Requirements:
* Level 3 NVQ qualification preferred; Level 2 candidates with substantial experience will be considered
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a dealership environment
* Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
* Knowledge of brand-specific requirements (confirmation pending)
* Willingness to undertake EV training and develop electric vehicle maintenance expertise
* Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
