We are seeking compassionate, reliable and enthusiastic Support Workers and Carers to join our agency team, providing high-quality support to adults and older people across Bristol and Bath.
This is a rewarding opportunity for experienced care professionals seeking flexible work. You'll be supporting individuals with a range of needs, helping them to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life in a safe, person-centred environment.
Duties include:
Providing high-quality, person-centred care and support.
Assisting with personal care where required.
Supporting individuals with daily living activities and promoting independence.
Building positive, trusting relationships with the people you support.
Encouraging participation in activities and community engagement where appropriate.
Supporting with meals, hydration and medication (where trained and required).
Using safe moving and handling techniques in line with individual care plans.
Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns appropriately.
Working collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals to deliver excellent care.
We are looking for candidates who:
Have previous experience in a care or support worker role.
Have experience supporting adults and/or older people with a range of complex needs, including dementia, learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs.
Are caring, patient, compassionate and enthusiastic about making a positive difference.
Are reliable, professional and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy building meaningful relationships.
Have an understanding of person-centred care and promoting dignity, choice and independence.
Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
Desirable training and experience:
Manual Handling
Medication Administration
Safeguarding
First Aid
Experience of working with positive behaviour support and person-centred care approaches.
