Due to continued investment and business growth, our client has immediate opportunities for skilled CNC Millers and CNC Turners to join their established manufacturing team.
Working within a modern, high-specification machining environment, you'll produce precision-engineered components for some of the world's most demanding industries, where quality, accuracy and innovation are paramount.
The Role
Operate and support advanced CNC machining centres producing high-precision components.
Apply your expertise in 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling or CNC turning to maximise machine performance and program efficiency.
Develop, modify and optimise CNC programs to improve productivity and quality.
Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models and technical documentation.
Provide technical support to operators and colleagues throughout the machining process.
Identify opportunities to improve manufacturability and recommend drawing or process improvements.
Ensure all CNC programs are fully tested and verified before production.
We're looking for experienced machinists who can demonstrate:
Previous experience in a similar CNC setting / operating machining role.
Experience within high-integrity manufacturing sectors such as Aerospace, Defence, Nuclear, Petrochemical or Automotive.
Strong knowledge of 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling or CNC turning.
Experience with Hurco, Dugard, Daewoo or Haas controls is advantageous.
A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
A positive, flexible attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to producing work to the highest quality standards.
