Sheet Metal Worker
Stevenage
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join a well-established engineering client based in Stevenage.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering long-term, stable work with excellent overtime and shift flexibility.
Hours:
50–55 hours available per week
Day or Night shifts available
Pay Rate:
£16.00 – £22.00 per hour DOE
Benefits:
Overtime paid at T+1/2
Statutory pension scheme contributions in place
22 days holiday + 3 additional days
Regular, consistent working hours available
Key Responsibilities:
Fabrication and assembly of sheet metal components
Reading and working from engineering drawings
Cutting, bending, forming, and finishing metal parts
Operating a range of workshop machinery and tools
Ensuring all work meets required quality and safety standards
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Sheet Metal Worker in an engineering or manufacturing environment
Ability to read technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Reliable and flexible to meet production demands
