Shift Production Manager - Fresh Food

Our Client is a leading Importer and Supplier of Fresh Produce to a wide portfolio of customers. Due to continued growth, we are now seeking a Shift Production Manager to join the business and take responsibility for the team and management of the production.

The position of Shift Production Manager will work closely with the Production Manager and will manage the packhouse production team to ensure efficiency, motivation, and training, achieving production schedules and meeting deadlines expected by the customer.

Key responsibilities include:
Ensure effective and positive relationships are built & maintained within the production department

Communicate with colleagues and co-departments to drive efficiencies and ensure KPI’s are met
Oversee and positively manage all production staff on shift

Manage the distribution of orders within the Packhouse

Communicate any issues and/or change in schedules
Monitor production processes effectiveness

We require;
Experience in a similar Production / Packhouse Supervisory and / or Management position
Experience of working effectively and positively to encourage all team members
Exposure to FMCG / Fresh Produce / Food sectors highly advantageous
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and achieve targets

* 6.45am to 19.00pm

* Day Shift

* 4 days on, 4 days off

Salary; up to £45k
Location; Essex / North London / Herts
