7.5ton- Class 2 Driver

Overview
We are seeking reliable and skilled Class 2 and 7.5 TON Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and customer service, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries. This role requires a keen understanding of driving regulations and the ability to navigate various routes.

Responsibilities

* Operate vehicle with safely and efficiently for deliveries

* Ensuring proper handling to prevent damage

* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards

* Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation

* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules

* Adhere to all road traffic regulations and company policies

* Assist with route planning to optimize delivery efficiency

Qualifications

* Valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for 7.5 tonne and class 1 vehicles

* Proven experience as a commercial driver

* Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and driving best practices

* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively

* Good communication skills, both verbal and written

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

* A commitment to providing exceptional customer service
