Blue Book Rates

Days: £23.25 per hour
Nights: £29.41 per hour
Overtime A: £32.55 per hour
Overtime B: £41.84 per hour
Accommodation/Digs Allowance: £50 per dayWe are currently recruiting experienced TIG/MMA Welders for a 6-12 month contract with a leading UK Oil & Gas engineering company.

Successful candidates will attend a weld test in Wakefield on Thursday 2nd July, with immediate starts available for those who successfully pass.

This role involves carrying out high-quality TIG and MMA welding on stainless steel and carbon steel pipework and boiler systems on major industrial projects across the UK. As work is site-based, flexibility to travel and work away from home is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out TIG and MMA welding on stainless steel and carbon steel pipework and boiler systems.
Weld to a high standard on a variety of industrial piping systems.
Work from engineering drawings, weld procedures and technical specifications.
Produce high-quality welds that meet industry and client standards.
Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Work collaboratively as part of a skilled site team.
Comply with all health, safety and quality procedures on site.

Requirements

Proven experience in TIG and MMA welding.
Previous experience welding stainless steel and carbon steel pipework and boiler systems.
Ability to successfully complete a weld test in Wakefield on Thursday 2nd July.
Experience within the Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Industrial or Heavy Engineering sectors is highly desirable.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding procedures.
Willingness to travel and work on projects throughout the UK.
Available for an immediate start following a successful weld test.
