Project Manager – Demolition Project Works Entail:
Experienced Demolition office project manager with proven record with previous companies on demo projects required
* Overall planning, coordination, and management of demolition activities from start to completion.
* Preparing and implementing demolition methodologies and project programmes.
* Ensuring all works comply with health, safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.
* Obtaining and managing required permits, licences, and approvals.
* Coordinating site surveys, asbestos/hazardous material assessments, and utility disconnections.
* Managing subcontractors, labour, plant, and equipment.
* Monitoring project progress, programme, budget, and resource allocation.
* Conducting risk assessments and implementing safe systems of work.
* Liaising with clients, consultants, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
* Overseeing waste management, material recycling, and environmental controls.
* Managing quality assurance and ensuring works meet project specifications.
* Resolving site issues, delays, and technical challenges.
* Preparing project reports, progress updates, and documentation.
* Ensuring site security and public protection measures are maintained throughout the project.
* Managing project close-out, site clearance, final inspections, and handover.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience managing demolition projects.
* Strong knowledge of demolition methods, temporary works, and structural sequencing.
* Thorough understanding of health and safety legislation and environmental regulations.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple stakeholders.
* Relevant construction qualifications and certifications (e.g., degree/HND in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, and applicable site management and safety certifications).
this project is 6 to 7 months but would be a fulltime role as other projects will be starting as the company order books are strong going into 2027
