Summary We’re on the lookout for an experienced Electrician to work on a project in Newcastle city centre. The job involves containment and lighting installation, starting as soon as possible. If you’ve got a Gold JIB card and you’re ready for a short contract with good rates, this could be a great fit.
Salary
£26.00 per hour (Mon–Fri first 40 hours)
£33.80 per hour (Midweek overtime and first 6 hours on Saturday)
£41.60 per hour (Saturday after first 6 hours and all Sunday hours)
Paid via CISWorking Pattern
Monday to Thursday: 7:30am–4:30pm
Friday: 7:30am–1:00pmClient Overview Our client is delivering electrical installation services for a key project in Newcastle. They’re seeking tradespeople who can deliver professional, high-quality work on time.
Responsibilities
Carry out containment installation work
Install and connect lighting systems
Ensure all tasks comply with safety regulations and standards
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Report progress and any issues to the site supervisorMust-have Requirements
Gold JIB card
Proven experience as an electrician on commercial projects
Ability to work to deadlines and follow site safety rulesNice-to-have Skills
Experience with similar commercial projects
Additional electrical certifications beyond JIBAdditional Information
