Job Title: Deburr Technician

Location: Glenrothes

Pay Rate: £13- £14 per hour

Job Type: 13-week Temp-to-Perm

First Achieve Engineering Recruitment is working on behalf of a leading aerospace

manufacturer to recruit a Deburr Technician. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-

established company with the potential to secure a permanent position after 13 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

* Inspecting components for burrs, sharp edges, and surface defects

* Operating deburring tools such as hand files, sanders, grinders, and rotary tools

* Following blueprints, work instructions, and quality standards to ensure precise finishes

* Using microscopes or magnifiers for detailed deburring work when necessary

* Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work area

Requirements

* Previous experience in deburring, fettling, or metal finishing

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

* Strong attention to detail and quality standards

* Good manual dexterity

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Highly Desirable Experience

* Background in aerospace or precision engineering

* Familiarity with quality inspection tools (micrometres, verniers, gauges)
