Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a De-burr Operative to join a busy manufacturing team. You will be responsible for removing sharp edges, scratches, and imperfections from metal components to ensure products meet the highest quality standards before dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
De-burr metal components using hand tools and specialist finishing equipment.
Remove sharp edges, burrs, scratches, and surface defects.
Finish products to customer quality standards.
Inspect components for defects and dimensional accuracy.
Use measuring equipment where required.
Follow engineering drawings and work instructions.
Maintain a clean and organised workstation.
Report quality issues to supervisors.
Work safely in line with company health and safety procedures. Requirements
Previous manufacturing or engineering experience preferred.
Experience using hand tools, grinders, files, sanders, or polishing equipment.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good manual dexterity.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
