Procurement Manager | Kentish Town | £55,000 - £60,000
An innovative technology manufacturer operating within the advanced imaging sector is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead its purchasing function. The business designs and manufactures high-precision electronic products supplied to global customers across medical, scientific and industrial markets.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused procurement professional to play a key role in developing a resilient supply chain, improving supplier performance, and supporting business growth within a technically driven manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
+Develop and implement procurement strategies for both direct and indirect materials, ensuring alignment with production and operational requirements.
+Source, evaluate and onboard new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing vendors.
+Monitor supplier performance through agreed KPIs, driving improvements in quality, delivery, cost and service.
+Lead commercial negotiations for supplier contracts, pricing agreements, payment terms and service level agreements.
Essential Experience & Skills
+A minimum of five years' procurement experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
+Demonstrable experience managing supplier relationships and delivering measurable cost savings without compromising quality or delivery performance.
+Ability to understand technical documentation, including engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
+Previous experience within electronics, semiconductor or other high-technology manufacturing sectors.
+Knowledge of electronic components and global supply chain dynamics.
