We are looking for a competent CNC Turner to join a busy, fast pace machine shop based in the Poole area on a rotating shift pattern.
This role requires strong setting/programming experience with Siemens and/or Fanuc controls and would be working with a range of materials such as; Aluminium, Mild steel, Stainless steel & various composites.
Main responsibilities:
*
Supporting the CNC cell with setting/operating multiple machines in the most efficient way possible.
*
Ensuring quality procedures are followed to reduce non-conformance rate.
*
General maintenance of machines to reduce downtime.
*
Following company health & safety procedures.
*
Strong problem solving skills
*
Positive attitude
*
Willingness to learn
*
Strong attention to detail
*
Strong team player
*
Ability to read & understand technical drawings
*
Hours/Shifts: Week 1: 6am – 2pm Mon to Fri / Week 2: 2pm – 00:00 Mon to Thurs 37.5 hrs/wk
Skills Required: Writing Programmes, Reading, Drawings, Lathe, Debur, Communication, Teamwork, Numeracy, Accuracy, Inspection, Hand tools.
Relevant Experience: Minimum 3 years similar experience required
