A welcoming and nurturing mainstream primary school in Roehampton is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years team on a full-time maternity cover contract from September.

The Role Will Involve:

Full classroom responsibilities including planning, assessment, marking, and reporting

Delivering creative, engaging, and play-based learning in line with the EYFS Framework

Supporting children's communication, language, social, and emotional development

Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment

Working closely with support staff, parents, and the wider school community to ensure excellent outcomes for pupils

Attending staff meetings and contributing to the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Have experience teaching within Early Years, ideally within a Nursery setting

Demonstrate a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum

Be nurturing, creative, and passionate about early childhood education

Have excellent classroom management and organisational skills

Have a thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
