About the role

Our client is seeking a commercially driven Growth Accelerator Manager to lead business development activity across their social enterprise division. Based in Aylesford, this is a hands-on role focused on generating new opportunities, building strategic relationships and converting leads into measurable growth. You will also manage two Business Development Executives, ensuring a consistent and high-performing pipeline.

Key responsibilities

* Identify and develop new business opportunities across services

* Build and manage a strong pipeline of leads and prospects

* Lead outreach, networking, events and client meetings

* Manage and support 2 Business Development Executives

* Drive consistent CRM and lead management processes

* Monitor pipeline performance and conversion rates

* Support bids, tenders and strategic submissions

* Conduct market, sector and competitor research

* Collaborate with marketing on targeted campaigns

* Contribute to growth strategy and partnership development

About you (requirements)

* Proven experience in sales, business development or commercial roles

* Strong understanding of marketing and lead generation

* Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement skills

* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities

* Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience

* Experience in social value/ESG or relevant sectors (desirable)

* Background in construction, manufacturing or infrastructure (desirable)
