Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with skilled machinists to learn the intricacies of setting and machining large, complex components.
- Set and measure tooling for CNC machines.
- Operate large overhead cranes to move and turn components, with RTIB training provided.
- Adhere to legislative health and safety policies.
- Understand and amend CNC programs.
- Develop and enhance skills in operating a Fanuc control system.
Skills, Experience, and Education:
Communication:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
Knowledge/Expertise:
- NVQ Level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering subject.
- Experience operating and setting CNC milling machines, preferably with FANUC controls.
Innovation:
- A proactive and enquiring mindset, eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
