Job Scope:
An exciting opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to join an established company working as an integral part of the Group Accounting function. Providing reporting to both local and group management in a professional, accurate and timely way to support short / medium term operational decisions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation of the monthly management reporting pack
* Preparation of strategic and single year budgets, periodic reviews and forecasts
* Monthly variances for actual / forecast, versus previous forecast, annual budget and previous year
* Provide management with relevant, targeted information, analysis and advice
* Ensure financial procedures and processes are followed
* Ad-hoc support to the broader Finance team
* Stakeholder management – collaborating with local and Group managers
Required Qualifications and Aptitudes:
* Qualified (or nearly qualified) ACCA, ACA, or CIMA
* Experience including statutory financial statements and tax
* Must possess a sound technical accounting knowledge
* Able to demonstrate strong analytical skills and understand / interpret information quickly
* Requires excellent communication skills, with the ability to easily connect with people at different levels and healthy working relationships
* Highly IT literate, including a high proficiency in MS Excel
* Experience of SAP highly desirable
* Comfortable with adapting to, and driving change
