Pipe Fitter/ Pump Fitter - Maintenance Technician
Whether you're an experienced Pipefitter, Pump Fitter, or an all-round Handy Person with strong mechanical skills, we'd like to hear from you.
Salary £52,000 per annum based on a 40-hour working week, equating to £25.00 per hour.
Overtime available plus call out £80 per attendance
Company vehicle, phone, laptop, tools and equipment provided
20 days holiday plus bank holidays
You may have been a Pipefitter, Pump Fitter, Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Handy Person, Handyman, Mechanical Maintenance, Industrial Maintenance, Pipe Installation, Pump Installation, Pump Repairs, Pipework
You may have been in the following industries Water Treatment, Mechanical Engineering, Pipefitting, Plumbing, Pump Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing, Utilities, Building Services, Facilities Management, Mechanical Fitting, Construction, HVAC, Engineering, Fabrication, Welding, Plant Maintenance, Field Service Engineering, Mechanical Services.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation, maintenance, and repair of pumps and pipework.
Carrying out mechanical fitting and general maintenance tasks.
Fault finding and problem solving on-site.
Working safely and efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
Providing a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
Essential Requirements:
Practical hands-on experience in mechanical fitting, pipework, or general maintenance.
Ideally you will hold relevant trade qualifications
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Full UK driving licence.
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Desirable (but not essential):
Experience with pumps, water systems, or industrial equipment.
Welding, fabrication, or plumbing experience.
Relevant trade qualifications or CSCS card.
