Highways Engineer | London | Hybrid
We're looking for a talented Highway Engineer to join a fast-growing, forward-thinking consultancy delivering some of the most high-profile highways, public realm and active travel projects across London and the UK.
This is a chance to step into a role where your work genuinely shapes the city. From busy urban corridors to transformational streetscape schemes, you'll take designs from early concept right through to construction, working alongside some of the industry's most experienced engineers and designers on projects that make a visible, lasting impact.
We're after someone with at least three years' highways design experience, strong knowledge of UK standards including DMRB, TfL Streetscape Guidance, LTN 1/20, LCDS and TSRGD, and confident ability using AutoCAD. A Civil Engineering degree (or equivalent experience) is essential, along with a solid understanding of delivering real-world design solutions in a live, urban environment.
You'll be confident working with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams, and comfortable applying CDM 2015 principles as part of a busy, collaborative project environment.
In return, you'll join a consultancy that genuinely invests in its people, offering clear progression, ongoing development, and the opportunity to work on standout projects that shape how people live, move and connect across the city. Alongside this, you'll receive a competitive salary, performance-related bonus, private healthcare, pension and professional membership support.
If you want to do more than just design roads-and actually help shape places that matter-this is the role
