Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Care Supervisor to oversee and coordinateour complex care home care services. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising care staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents, and maintaining effective communication with clients and team members. This role offers an opportunity to lead a compassionate team while ensuring compliance with care standards and organisational policies.

Duties

* Supervise and support care staff in delivering personalised care plans to residents, ensuring all needs are met with compassion and professionalism

* Conduct regular assessments of care quality and implement improvements where necessary

* Oversee the scheduling of staff shifts and allocate resources efficiently to meet service demands

* Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, staff rotas, and incident reports using IT systems

* Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a positive working environment

* Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate resident care effectively

* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and organisational standards

* Monitor driving schedules for staff members who are responsible for transportation duties, ensuring safe and timely travel arrangements

Skills

* Proven experience in senior care or a care home setting, with supervisory or leadership responsibilities recognised as essential

* Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with residents, families, staff, and external professionals

* Ability to supervise and motivate a team whilst maintaining high standards of care delivery

* Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation, scheduling, and reporting purposes

* Knowledge of developing and implementing personalised care plans tailored to individual needs

* Organised with strong leadership qualities to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently

* Compassionate approach combined with professionalism to ensure the wellbeing of residents is prioritised at all times
