Pay: Competitive hourly/daily rate depending on experience

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step in your education career? Prospero Teaching is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Highbridge that is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a part-time basis, working 2 days per week.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting pupils' learning and development while working closely with teaching staff across the primary age range.

The Role

As a HLTA, you will:

Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
Support teaching and learning across the school.
Work with small groups and individual pupils to accelerate progress.
Assist in planning and preparing engaging learning activities.
Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.
Support children with a range of learning needs and abilities.
Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

HLTA status or relevant experience in a similar role.
Experience working within a primary school setting.
Strong behaviour management and classroom leadership skills.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
A passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a school team.

Essential Requirements:
