Engagement Lead - D2C Salesforce Commerce Cloud
The Role
As Engagement Lead, you will own the overall client engagement throughout the North American rollout, acting as the senior point of contact for executive stakeholders while leading programme governance, delivery quality and commercial success.
Working closely with the client leadership team, Project Managers, Solution Architects and Salesforce specialists, you will ensure the successful deployment of the established global template whilst accommodating regional business and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall Salesforce Commerce Cloud engagement across North America.
- Build trusted relationships with executive business and IT stakeholders.
- Provide leadership across programme governance, steering committees and executive reporting.
- Oversee delivery across multiple workstreams including:
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud
- Salesforce Order Management
- Akeneo PIM
- Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Tax engines
- Payment services
- Integration teams
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical delivery.
- Manage programme risks, dependencies, budget and delivery milestones.
- Coordinate multiple implementation partners and cross-functional teams.
- Drive decision-making and remove delivery blockers.
- Support business design workshops, sprint reviews, testing, deployment and hypercare.
- Ensure successful transition into business-as-usual operations.
- Identify opportunities for future phases of the global commerce transformation.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience leading large-scale Salesforce transformation programmes.
- Extensive experience delivering Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud implementations.
- Strong background managing enterprise digital commerce programmes.
- Executive stakeholder management experience.
- Demonstrated success leading complex multi-workstream engagements.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional delivery teams and third-party partners.
- Strong commercial, governance and programme management capabilities.
- Experience delivering North American or global Salesforce programmes.
- Excellent communication, leadership and consulting skills.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
Desirable Experience
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud certifications.
- Salesforce Order Management implementation experience.
- Akeneo PIM integration experience.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration experience.
- Payment gateway and tax engine integration.
- Manufacturing, distribution or retail industry experience.
- Experience deploying global solution templates across regional markets.
