Role Overview

The addition of a Senior SAP MM Consultant is driven by ongoing growth and the need to meet evolving client requirements. This role is pivotal to shaping and executing procurement and materials management strategies within complex SAP landscapes. As a key member of the team, you will have a direct impact on delivering tailored SAP solutions that optimise supply chain efficiency for enterprise clients. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Materials Management (MM) modules, ensuring solutions meet client needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business processes into SAP configurations
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and post-implementation support to optimise SAP MM functionalities
• Provide expert guidance on SAP best practices and industry standards related to procurement and inventory management
• Analyse client processes and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency
• Mentor junior team members and foster knowledge sharing within the project teams
• Interface with stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are achieved within deadlines and quality standards

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience configuring and implementing SAP MM modules in complex enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, valuation, and related SAP (and possibly SAP S/4HANA) functionalities
• Previous involvement in full project life cycles from analysis through go-live and support
• Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications and SAP solutions
• Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to effectively liaise with non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrable problem-solving and analytical abilities to troubleshoot and optimise SAP systems

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience with SAP integration points, including SD, PP, and QM modules
• Knowledge of ABAP programming or other SAP technical enhancements
• Industry-specific experience, particularly within manufacturing, retail, or logistics sectors
• Relevant SAP certifications or training credentials
• Language skills beyond English, especially in multinational project settings
