Aircraft Cleaning Operatives (RAF Mildenhall)

Job Overview
We are currently recruiting Aircraft Cleaning Operatives to support a long-term defence aviation contract based at RAF Mildenhall.
This role involves the external cleaning and washing of military aircraft within a secure RAF environment. The work is normally carried out by RAF personnel but is now being outsourced under a structured civilian contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for ex-RAF personnel or individuals with aviation, ground support, industrial cleaning, or similar experience.
Key Responsibilities
* External cleaning and washing of aircraft
* Working at height using cherry pickers (provided on site)
* Operating high-pressure washing equipment
* Following strict health, safety, and military site procedures
* Working as part of a small, structured ground team
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety compliance
Candidate Requirements
* Ex-RAF personnel desirable (not essential)
* Experience in aviation, ground handling, industrial cleaning or similar environment
* Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all conditions
* Reliable, punctual, and security-conscious
* Ability to follow strict operational procedures
* Security clearance advantageous or willingness to undergo clearance

* Cleaning equipment and pressure washers supplied
