LOCATION: Wellingbrorough

HOURS OF WORK: 6am - 2:15pm

BASIC SALARY: £12.71 per hour

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS: 28 days holiday, pension.

Our client is seeking a Production Operative to join their organisation based in Wellingborough on a temporary to permanent basis. The role involves operating saw machinery to cut uPVC and aluminium profiles to precise specifications, ensuring production targets are met in accordance with safety, quality, and performance standards. You'll be working for a well-established manufacturer of windows, doors, and glazing products, supplying high-quality solutions to customers across the UK.

In this Production Operative role, you will:

Operate automated and semi-automated saw machinery to cut materials to required measurements.
Read and interpret production orders, cut sheets, and specifications.
Measure and inspect products to ensure accuracy and quality standards are maintained.
Load and unload materials safely from machinery.
Carry out basic machine checks and report any faults or maintenance requirements.
Assist with general production, housekeeping, packing, and clean-up duties as required.
Work efficiently to meet daily production volumes and targets and adhere to all health, safety, and quality procedures.To be successful as a Production Operative you must:

Have good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with measurements.
Be physically fit and capable of manual handling and standing for extended periods.
Have excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
Demonstrate reliability and outstanding attendance.
Be willing to learn new skills and work in line with company values.
