The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant
As an experienced SEN TA, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEND
Work closely with pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs, and moderate learning difficulties
Support students' academic progress, emotional regulation, and engagement in lessons
Collaborate with teachers, SENCo, and pastoral teams
Implement and adapt strategies in line with EHCP targets
Promote a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment
About You
We are looking for candidates who:
Have previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant (essential)
Have supported secondary-aged students or young people with SEND
Are confident working with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and complex needs
Are patient, resilient, and proactive
Can build strong professional relationships with students and staff
Are committed to long-term impact and progression within education
