The Role

The successful candidate will teach Computer Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and innovative lessons that inspire students to develop their programming, computational thinking, and digital literacy skills. The Ideal Candidate Will

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Have experience teaching Computer Science across KS3 and KS4
Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge, including programming and computational thinking
Be passionate about delivering engaging and challenging lessons
Have strong classroom management and communication skills
Be committed to supporting every student to achieve their full potential
Enjoy working collaboratively and contributing to the wider school community
Must have a full Right to Work in the UK - no sponsorship available

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
Teach topics including programming, algorithms, computational thinking, and data representation
Assess, monitor, and support student progress through effective feedback
Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
Support curriculum development and extracurricular opportunities, such as coding clubs and STEM initiatives
