Connect Appointments is recruiting a MIG Welder to join an established manufacturer based in Chadderton.
Our client is an innovative manufacturing business producing specialist products across a range of sectors including pharmaceutical, telecoms and food infrastructure, offering a four-day working week with an early finish every Friday.
What's on offer?
Full-time permanent position
Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm
£14 to £16 per hour dependent on experienceAs a MIG Welder, your duties will include:
MIG welding to a consistently high standard across a varied range of manufacturing projects
Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings accurately
Working as part of a close-knit team while using your own initiative to maintain quality
Adhering to all workplace health and safety procedures at all timesTo be considered as a MIG Welder, you will need:
A minimum of 6 to 12 months hands-on MIG welding experience
A formal welding qualification such as Level 1 or 2 City & Guilds, AWS or ISO 9606 certification
The ability to pass a mandatory on-site welding test prior to starting
A high level of precision and attention to detail
