Freelance Hands-on Site Manager Required in Ashford

GVR Solutions are currently seeking a Site Manager who is happy to get involved on the tools to join a well established main contractor in Ashford. They are looking for a Site Manager with a trade background to join them on a project where they are constructing two new build classrooms onto the back of an existing school.

Project Details:

New build school extension

* Location: Ashford, Kent

* Duration: 8 Months

* Current Stage: The timber frame is just about to be erected

* Value: £1m

* Day Rate: £240-£250

The Hands-on Site Manager must have/be:

* A strong trade background

* Experience working on education projects is advantageous

* Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Site Management

* Ability to oversee day-today operations and subcontractors

* Strong health & safety awareness

* Excellent communication and leadership skills

* SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid

* Enhanced DBS
