Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor on an interim basis, for a three year project in Salisbury.
Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
Manage subcontractor valuations, payments and final accounts.
Attend regular site visits (minimum 1-2 days per week) to monitor commercial progress and build strong relationships with the site team.
Attend monthly CVR (Cost Value Reconciliation) meetings and report on project performance.
Take full commercial responsibility for the development, ensuring budgets and costs are effectively managed.
Monitor project costs, forecasts and cash flow, identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities.
Work closely with Construction, Technical and Finance teams to ensure projects are delivered on budget.
Prepare and submit cost reports, forecasts and financial information to senior management.
Manage variations, contractual issues and commercial negotiations with subcontractors.Essential Experience of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
A recognised professional qualification
