Description

We are seeking an Entry Level Engineering Research & Development Consultant to join our clients' team. Our client works with top aeronautical engineering business, that are at the forefront of Innovation in their sector.

They are recruiting canditdates who have a passion for innovation in the engineering sector. Ideal candidates have a Engineering degree (MSc/MEng/PhD) in civil engineering, structural engineering, aeronautical engineering, mechanical, etc.

The opportunity will allow the candidate to develop skills in the Research and Development Tax sector specialising in Engineering through industry leading training.

Responsibilities:

*

* Undertaking the engineering technical assessment of claims and writing compelling technical summaries which will be submitted to the HMRC

* Identification of qualifying R&D Engineering/ construction projects and expenditure through participation in technical discussions with clients

* Ensuring R&D claims meet the requirements of the relevant legislation and guidelines (the new joiner will be trained in-house on these matters through a thorough a comprehensive internal induction and training programme

* Supporting R&D Engineering/ Construction Relief claims in the event of HMRC R&D enquiries

* Continuously developing own knowledge and skills and to keep technical knowledge up to date

We’re looking for someone with:

* A recognised university degree (MSc/MEng and/or PhD) in a field of Engineering, specifically relating to Civils, Structural, or mechanical.

Minimum requirements:

*

* Work experience in your chosen industry as an engineer or technical role, with a good sector knowledge in Engineering.

* Excellent communication (both spoken and written), curiosity, awareness and an interest in the fields of science, technology and innovation.

This is a rewarding career path for someone tho wants tp pursue a career in Research and Development Tax in the Engineering Industry. There is a lot of growth potential and opportunities in this field
