We're looking for an experienced Senior Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing engineering business during an exciting period of expansion. With a strong pipeline of long-term service contracts and new projects, this is an excellent opportunity to join a company that genuinely values its engineers and offers long-term career progression.
We're particularly interested in speaking with engineers based across the Midlands, East Anglia and the Cambridge area, with strong experience working on CO₂ and Ammonia refrigeration systems.
The Role
You'll be responsible for the service, maintenance and fault finding of heavy commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, including CO₂, Freon and chilled water applications, with Ammonia systems playing a key part of the role.
Working alongside the service team and fellow engineers, you'll ensure customer equipment is operating safely, efficiently and to the highest standards while delivering an excellent level of customer service on every visit.
What We're Looking For
You'll have at least 5 years' experience working within commercial or industrial refrigeration and be confident working independently on complex systems.
To be successful you'll ideally have:
* City & Guilds 2079 Refrigerant Handling qualification
* CO₂ refrigeration experience (essential)
* Ammonia qualifications/tickets (desirable)
* Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* A full UK driving licence

Alongside a salary of £53,000 - £59,000, you'll receive full door-to-door pay, overtime after 40 hours, a 1 in 4 call-out rota with a £225 standby payment, 33 days holiday including Bank Holidays, company pension, private healthcare, health support scheme and death in service benefit following probation.
