We are currently recruiting for a motivated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Great Barr. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who enjoys creating engaging lessons, building positive relationships with pupils, and helping children develop confidence as they progress through Key Stage 1.
Whether you're an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we'd love to hear from you if you're committed to delivering high-quality teaching and making learning enjoyable.
The Role
As the successful candidate, you will:
Deliver creative and engaging lessons that inspire a love of learning.
Prepare pupils for the end of Key Stage 1 while supporting every child's individual learning journey.
Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and plan next steps.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
Promote children's personal development, wellbeing, and confidence both inside and outside the classroom.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Has experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2.
Has a good understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment expectations.
Can motivate and challenge pupils of all abilities.
Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills.
Is passionate, reliable, and committed to helping children achieve their full potential.
