Reception Teacher Required
We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and committed Reception Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Sandwell. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who is dedicated to providing an outstanding start to children's educational journey.
The successful candidate will create an engaging and nurturing learning environment, inspire young learners, and support children in achieving their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework.
Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning through play.
Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, using assessment to inform future planning.
Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.
Support children's social, emotional, and academic development.
Maintain high standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and wellbeing.
Work collaboratively with the wider school team to provide the best possible outcomes for all pupils.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching within EYFS, ideally in a Reception class.
A sound understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A positive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
