Search Consultancy have fantastic opportunities for Wireman to work with one of our valued clients in Wales. This is a temporary role with a duration of 1year
Duties to include:
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Installing electrical wiring, conduits, cables, switches, sockets, lighting, and distribution boards.
Connecting electrical equipment such as motors, transformers, control panels, and generators.
Testing electrical installations using meters and other testing equipment to ensure they operate safely and correctly.
Troubleshooting electrical faults and repairing or replacing damaged wiring and components.
Performing preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
Ensuring all work complies with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
Installing and terminating cables for power, lighting, and control circuits.
Maintaining records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
Using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing instruments safely and effectively.
Coordinating with electricians, engineers, contractors, and other trades during installation and maintenance work.
Requirements:
Good attention to detail
Full PPE
Gold ECS
Experience with 400KV Cables preferably
