Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a highly regarded all-girls secondary school in Wandsworth to recruit a passionate and dedicated Computing Teacher for a part-time position (Monday to Thursday) starting in September.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and ambitious school community where academic achievement is valued and students are encouraged to excel in STEM subjects. The successful candidate will play a key role in inspiring the next generation of young women to develop their digital, computational, and problem-solving skills.

About the Role

Teaching Computing and Computer Science across KS3–KS5
Delivering engaging and innovative lessons that promote a love of technology
Supporting students in developing programming, computational thinking, and digital literacy skills
Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations
Planning, marking, and assessing in line with school policies
Using assessment data to monitor progress and raise attainment
Contributing to curriculum development within the Computing department
Supporting enrichment activities, coding clubs, and STEM initiatives where appropriate
Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
Part-time role – Monday to Thursday

Essential Requirements – Please Read Carefully

✔️ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

✔️ Degree in Computing, Computer Science, ICT, or a related subject

✔️ Experience teaching Computing within a UK secondary school

✔️ Strong subject knowledge across the Computing curriculum

✔️ Ability to teach GCSE Computing confidently (A-Level experience desirable)

✔️ Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

✔️ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

⚠️ Please do not apply if you do not hold QTS and relevant UK teaching experience. Applications that do not meet these criteria may not be considered.
