About the Opportunity

Are you an experienced technology sales professional looking to join a fast-growing MSP with genuine earning potential?

We're working with an established and expanding IT solutions provider that's investing heavily in its sales team. With a strong reputation across Managed IT Services, Cloud, Cyber Security, Infrastructure and Professional Services, they're helping businesses throughout the Northwest and across the UK modernise, secure and optimise their IT environments.

As Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships and driving revenue growth across the SME and mid-market sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience selling Managed Services, Cloud, Cyber Security or wider IT solutions who thrives in a consultative sales environment.

The Role

As Business Development Manager, you will:

Identify and win new business opportunities across SME and mid-market organisations.
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals and marketing-qualified leads.
Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to proposal, negotiation and contract completion.
Develop trusted relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their business challenges and recommending tailored technology solutions.
Work closely with technical consultants and solution architects to deliver bespoke proposals.
Cross-sell and upsell Managed IT Services, Cloud Solutions, Cyber Security, Infrastructure and Professional Services.
Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline reporting and sales forecasts.
Attend client meetings, networking events and industry functions across Manchester, the Northwest and wider UK.
Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales and revenue targets.About You

You'll ideally have:

At least 3 years' experience in Business Development, IT Sales, Technology Sales or Account Management.
A proven track record of winning new business and achieving sales targets.
Experience selling one or more of the following:
Managed IT Services
Cloud Solutions
Cyber Security
IT Infrastructure
Technology Consultancy
A consultative sales approach with excellent relationship-building skills.
Strong communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
A proactive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently.
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites when required.Desirable Experience

Experience working within an:

Managed Service Provider (MSP)
Value Added Reseller (VAR)
IT Consultancy
Cyber Security ProviderKnowledge of Microsoft Cloud technologies, networking, infrastructure, backup & disaster recovery or cyber security solutions would be advantageous.
